GROUP BUY: 1JZ TURBO MANIFOLDS Fri, 30 September 2005 01:37 Go to next message
Hey Guys

I have finally got onto the supplier of the 1JZ Manifolds.

They are available in either T3 or T4 flanged tops.
With externally gated ports.

We RRP these for $649

If we can get at least 5 people for T3 and 5 people for T4

We can get them down to $499 DELIVERED to your door.

Here is a pic i took with my phone (damn camera is dead).

JZA70 Supra manifolds wont fit the MX83/JZX81 vehicles because the steering shaft is in the way of the wastegate location.

being stainless you could always have a fabricator modify the gate design to suit

If my jza70 manifold can fit with a tiny bit of modification in a corona with a steering box, I would think it wouldn't bee too hard to make it fit in a jzz30!

P.S I have a trust manifold not this one.

Do you know if this manifold would have enough clearance for a Greddy T78 to fit comfortably in a 1JZ MK3 Supra?

I am interested but I need to know if it'll fit a Greddy T78 in a JZA70.

Guys there are many different manifold designs. This one has the wastegate pipes coming off the external curve which means it will take up more space. There is no way a supplier can say if it will fit a bunch of cars it wasnt designed for.
If its model specific for jza70 supra then that is most likely that it wont fit other cars without mods.
IMHO a person is better off buying these items from a source where they can be returned if they dont fit.in other words a shop where the seller can allow you to measure an item and give advice upon viewing your engine bay etc.
In a group buy discount situation returns are not possible.

1J manifolds are harder to find.2Js are very well catered for due to the US market demand.Just search ebay, heaps for 2J vs virtually nothing for 1J.
