Hi, i've got a spare T50 sitting in my shed and just today i compared it with the one in my AE71.
My problem is that the clutch slave arm opening is on the right (exhaust side?) of the gearbox and it also has an opening on the top for some dumb reason. Anyway, the bracket that holds the clutch slave is on the left (reverse light) side. So, any ideas what ive got.
Oh, and the output shaft is 20 spline and the rear extention housing LOOKS the same (but havent measured yet).

did u say it has a hole in the top of the bellhousing well! if it does its the Ta22 gearbox
Ta22: 20 spline input and output
TE72: (t-18)20 spline input and outpu
AE**: 22 Spline input and output
the TE72 gearstick is over the output shaft and the Ta22 is just further forward!
Cheers Sean!
