I am new to the car scene, just wondering what is the difference between Headers and Extractors?
I know it's a silly question but, your help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a bit like the difference between a Chemist and a Drugstore... all depends if you're a Pom or a Yank.

my use of this terminology
extractor/s:
an exhaust manifold made out of thinwall tube, where each primary (and/or secondary) is of equal legth, similar bend geometry and has no press bends or kinks.
header/s:
a buch of pipes which connect the exhaust manifold flange to the collector, built in the easiest way possible.
