i dont have the specs for the sprinter pump but do have for the VL pump so can only guess but i would imagine the VL pump to flow a greater amount of fuel. it is after all used on 6cyl and 6cyl turbo engines.

I looked up the flow rates for the VL pump the other day but I've forgotten what it was. Sorry mate.

Yeah just that I have a trade pending at the moment... I have a JDM AE86 internal fuel pump with mount, but it won't fit in the KE70 tank, I'd need to get an AE86 tank... One of the people that is interested in trading a VL pump to me for it, wants to know how many kw the JDM pump would withstand?
Cheers,
Kev.

I started running into issues running the AE86 pump at around 130rwkw on a 1G.

And keeping with this theame...
do you think the stock fuel line in the Aussie AE86 will be big enough dia for 130rwkw also? And can the stock fuel line in AE86 be flaired for high pressure fittings from intank pump to fuel filter? This is what I plan to do.
I have a mate with a KE20, 4A-GTE with 170rwkw, does 13.1sec etc... All on the stock KE20 fuel line. But a big pump in the boot I think.

I am wanting to go to the JDM AE86 intank setup. I think I have to buy the AE82 twincam or AE92 intank pump and brakets, and it should bolt in ??
But I don't care for the age of the actual pump, because I have a newish V6 Camry pump that should fit in the bracket (a fringe benifit of working at a dealership). I also got a RAV4 pump, which should also be good enough.

Why do you need to have the AE82 brackets etc, surely you could make something to fit any pump? I cut and welded a plate from a pintara tank into my AE86 ADM tank and have an Audi fuel pump inside it as well as the home made internal swirl pot. There is a thread about welding fuel tanks, have a look at that and see what you can come up with.

a VL fuel pump CAN support 200RWKW as can the standard fuel lines. thats the steel lines not the original carby rubber hoses obviously.

Yeah I can't help on the fuel lines as mine are up sized.
I now run a walbro intank pump on the AE86 mount.
