how do you tell which 65 celicas have i.R.S and also does anyone know what an SA65 is and if they came out in Australia?

RA60: live axle
SA63: IRS
RA65: IRS
Yes, the SA63 (not SA65) was released in Australia. It's much the same as the RA65 but came with the 2S-C engine (2 litre OHC) instead of the 22R-E (2.4 litre OHC EFI).

Yeah, I don't believe there was an SA65, although all the other information was 100% correct

all except the bit about all RA65's being I.R.S. i just sold my girlfriends smashed RA 65 and that was solid rear axle (85 model)?

ALL ra65's have IRS even the ST models
if your girlfriends car didnt have IRS then chances are somebody has put ra65 headlights onto a ra60

Yeah, thats what I'd be checking. There were versions of the RA65 with live-axle, but I think these were only in the States where there was a real distinction between the ST and the XT.

just for everyone who thinks the ra65 wasnt a live axle, i saw the god damn thing myself! and yes i saw the plates too!
