There are different proms to suit different states of tune, i.e. standard, airflow/exhaust, cams etc. The number is written on the prom and starts with an E, i.e. E138 for cams above 256 degrees.

ahh right o! this one apparently has a map sensor included, i'm using quads, higher CR, but stock cams for the moment..i've heard that the stock ECU won't handle the quads very well with the sudden change in manifold vaccume, but i am running a balance tube right through the adaptor plate for the booster, and map line..so i think it will be right..right?

The F-Con has its own map sensor. As for the quad business, has been done to death on this site. Remember the F-Con only adjusts the fuelling. If you don't end up using it, would be interested in buying but would need to know the prom code.
