hey guys, just got my ae82 twinky back from getting a heavy duty clutch installed and when taking off in 1st gear i get this shudder...
i dont think its related to the engine bacause its not bogging down and still shudders no matter how hard i rev it
the mechanic said my gearbox mounts looked worn or possibly broken but he chose to leave them.
it did not do this before the heavy duty clutch went in???
any help or experience would be appreciated

FWD's seem to rape their engine mounts quite frequently.
its possible the bloke who swapped in the new clutch buggered something up too.
im betting its your engine mounts, usually the front or rear.
have a look and if they look shot, replace them

As much as its probably notihng to do with it, my car was shuddering a little - turns out my gearbox mounts were actually not done up tight enough, doesn't hurt to check the obvious first
