coolant very dirty = cracked head gasket?

I have my 20v installed and running in my ae86 2 weeks ago, and the coolant is always dirty, I changed the coolant once but it became very dirty again after driving for a week, and the water smell like shit too. I then drained the radiator again and put plain water in, it became dirty slowly, and run the engine a day after its all blown in colour. I can't justify if its oil but I think its not as I guess water and oil don't mix. what should I do? should I bring the car to professional to flush it or anyone reckon its cracked headgasket and oil leaking into it?
also, today the car overheated because of thermostat blocked by the dirt, how do I clean the thermostat without pulling everything apart?(I'm using orginal fwd waterline and the thermostat housing is at the back of the head so without pulling the motor out I won't be able to get access to the thermostat, anyway the thermostat was new when I drop the motor in)

Is it a browny colour? Most engines corrode when they have mixed coolants in them, so you will have rust and corrosion all down the waterlines. Usually it doesnt budge that easy. Was the 20V sitting in the rain for a while or something? Maybe it built up some surface rust while it was sitting there...
I suggest emptying your entire water system, then stick a hose in the inlet of your engine and turn it on full blast. This is what my friend did even when he had perfect coloured radiator fluid, and bunches and bunches of brown shit came flowing out the outlet... Do it to your radiator too. Then afterwards reconnect all your waterpipes and fill with some really high grade coolant or better yet, genuine red toyota coolant .

excuse my ignorance but when theres a will theres a way
as far as i know to get the 20V to fit u need a whole in the firewall rite? well surely u could make it bigger to get to the thermostat?....thats my 2c anyway
it does sound like corroded insides so a flush would be the best way as kev said

yep although I didn't pull the thermostat put and flush the entire water line, I took the radiator out instead and flush it, a lot of blackish shit water with some piece of little rusty metal came out, after flushing the radiator like this for 5 mins and put it back to the car I used a bottle of "radiator flush" addictive and run the car for an hour, drained it and put fresh water in and drained it and put coolant in, and it becomes a lot better now. I guess most of the dirt deposite at the bottom and the core of the radiator.
