ok ive searched long and hard and cant find shit.
I want to put TA22 struts in my KE55, ill be using ST141 rear springs (inverted) and my standard KE55 strut top.
What id like to know is firstly, are there short stroke shocks i can use becasue the springs will make the clearance alot lower and i dont want it bottoming out.
secondly, what brakes can you bolt up to the standard strut? i know with TE72 struts u can use commodore (girlock) calipers and magna vented rotors (266mm? i think) can you also do this on the ta22 struts? will i need to fabricate a new hub? if anyone has done a conversion like this please help me with some info. cheers

Ok, if you are sure that the TA22 struts, will bolt to your Corolla lower control arms. You might consider the use of RT132 Corona struts.
We have successfully used these struts on TA22/RA23, and RA28 Celica's.
We use the RA60 Celica discs and hubs, and MX63 Cressida Calipers.
The front track, will be increased by 35mm overall, this improves the front stance of the Celica's somewhat.
Hope this helps, cheers Chuck.

rt132 struts are too long. i dont want to have to resort to shortening them becasue to get away with this legally id have to do a coilover conversion which is a waste of money where im coming from, i want the car 1 height and itll stay that way. i wont be running serious enough camber to require a smaller diameter spring either.
ill be using sigma control arms.
