dyno sheets!
|
Sun, 09 October 2005 07:40
|
 |
just thought id start a dyno sheet thread{there is prob one already,if so this one will die of natural causes}.
just dyno sheets, with engine, mods and were dynoed.
i think it would be better with no chatting in between at all so its easy to just see sheets and work out things.
thanks
mick

thanks Shraka, but i mean more personal ones than comp ones.if the dyno sheet says shootout mode dont post it,only because it has an extra 25% or so on it for wow factor so dosnt reflect the engine and mods as well.just thought everyone would be intrested to see what mods do and what diffrent dynos spit out!come on dont worry its all for everyones learning benefit etc.
thanks

7m-gte, 3" dump, exhaust and hi flow cat. stock boost (5psi), stock FMIC, pod filter ( )
pretty dissapointing, best run of the day was 126rwkw (they printed my worst )
previous owner got 139rwkw, but don't have a sheet.

Don't talk shit mick. I know you've a lot of experience with dynos, but there is nothing wrong with a properly done Shootout graph and when done right they at least give some sort of consistency between different dynos.
Oh, and here is a 1GGTE with a sick distributor.

Nice job on that page Shraka. Damn those dyno figures were low, I'd cry if my JZZ30 made 111rwkw.

My question is what the f**k were you doing dynoing it with a BHG?

18RGU unknown internals seems stock as.
Quite happy with the result considering std 120hp....
less 30% to kws - (84kw) less 30% drivetrain loss 58.8rwkw.

|
You have 3.9:1 rear end now? If so, I would stick with that. It has proven itself in other turbo drag cars. Typically v8’s use 4.11’s. I have a very short ratio in my car and it is crap for spoolup as well as running out of revs before the end of the quarter mile.
Trap speed as in MPH at end of quarter mile.

saidly yes- i expected alot better, 30 hp increase with a 5 psi increase was pretty depressing, when i spoke to the guy who hiflowed it he told me the efficiency range of the turbo will be up around 21 psi - which i never plan on running, hopefully a steady 17 psi from the eboost will make a hell of a difference - if not money was wasted.
saying that the zoom soarer pumped out 250 kw at 1 bar - 20 kw more then me with a stainless manifold and blitz turbo and generally more mods then mine so its not that bad when u look at it that way.

This is what happened once a wastegate line blew off......Have a look at the boost line! The lowest line was the old set-up when it made 281rwkw
