hi guys
i'm checking out a 2tg tmw at a wreckers and i'm new to this engine, just wondering how do i tell from looking at it if it is actually a 2tg and not 2t or 2tb?

its twincam dude the head is very diff, and its also stamped yamaha as they made em.

also i was just wondering how hard parts are to source for these motors as they were only released in the gt models.
So can spare part stores get in engine parts for these engines?

I've gotten all gaskets for them, also piston rings and bearings as well. my friend also got pistons for his. so you will be able to get most parts.
but it will be like normal, it's an old engine that wasn't produced here makes it a little harder.
