Well I finished year 12 in 2002 and have just scored myself a job at the Central Coast Motor group as an apprentice Mechanic where they Service Subaru, Nissan and Mercedes Benz
and i'll be working on all the Mercedes.
so here comes the big world of working full time
any other year 12 leavers of 2002 had any success in the job market yet?

Haha, i was supposed to do a work experience placement at Reliance Automotive here in canberra (canberra's only Rotary specialist workshop) but i never got around to it. I was hoping that i would be able to get an apprenticeship there from the placement like others before me, but now i'm stuck working at the supermarket until i do something about it lol. I plan on driver training and working for my dad's company in the future, but until i get off my P's (only 2 years to go) i have to do something else in the meantime. Hopefully J-Racing needs a salesperson in the showroom...

GIN51E,
I guess this means you'll be travelling the F3 twice/day ?
I did it for 6 years, and it gets worse every year.
At least your going against the traffic.
Drive Safely !!
Cheers

What's wrong with being an accountant? I just got offered an audit role in a city-based accounting firm which I will start next week. It was either that, or continue onto 4th year accounting honours (yuck!yuck!)

Sam, why would you be looking for this stuff??? I think that is the real question...
I finished my HSC and started work full time the next working day... HSC finished on Friday 15th Nov... I started full time Mondat 187th Nov... I am now a 2nd year Apprentice Mechanic and I'm really enjoying it... I occasionally still get cleaning up to do but that is generally when there are no minor services to do... I get all kinds of services on all kinds of Toyotas and Daihatsu's...
