Cheers for posting this, I was looking for exactly this and couldnt find it anywhere. I think my google skillz are declining :/

It worked when wired to the test connector, but not in the dash - yet.
I have to fix the dodgy wiring job first - the speed sensor was wired to the door ajar light and that's just 1 issue.
