i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere that did some sort of body kit for the ta22 because the one i just bought came with broken bits of a front spoiler and has one piece on the rear quarter(i wish i had a digital camera to explain what i mean) anyways it looks like a production piece as it doesnt' fit exactly, though must be desigend for an older model car with the curvey rear quarters.
any ideas?

David

I have yet to see a bodykit which doesn't make a TA22 look completely stupid. Some nice rims and a moderate lowering job is all you need to make a TA22 look good.

Hmm I remeber seeing a nice front lip / spoiler on one once....

But agreed the old celicas are classics, no need to rice them up with a huge body kit!

Cheers

norbies right yet again - take all the Bodykit off em - put on a nice set of boots , drop them a inch or a few - and let classic style prevail

the only ADDITION bodywise that they might want is the ORIGINAL Celica GT front lip spoiler

bar that - keep the lines clean !

Haha flares? I don't remmember Toyota making a TA22 SLR5000... lol

The only body mods that you should do to a TA22 is a nice set of mini-tubs. Nothing looks tougher than a TA22 with new paint, dumped on it's arse with 18X7 inch FR18 Simmons on the front and 12X18's on the back. Wink (trust me, my project car is coming along quite nicely thanx...)
