is there any diffrences between these?? will a diesel one work on a petrol engine??

It will work, but I doubt it will work very well. Turbo design considerations are very different between petrol and diesel engines.

The difference would be in the design of the wheels and/or housings, which may not be immediately obvious to the naked eye.
