 AW11 MR2 Heater fan dead

I called toyota about getting a replacement fan, they want $1000 
its just that the brushes wore out and sheared off.
anyone know if i can get brushes for it, or even if a corolla heater fan would fit.

have you rung any of the importers? i can remeber being told there was a aw11 wrecked at a wrecking yard in the gold coast a while back.............

Thanks for the info. Luckilly, I managed to score one from a wrecker in newcastle yesterday afternoon, fitted it and it works perfectly, all for $44
i am now happy and can drive around without sweating again
