AFAIK the 1st gen celica odomoters only have 5 digits, making the highest possible number 99,999 kms

how much has it actually done though? are you sure its not just 42,000 on the clock?

Ok, well it looks like its got 6 digits to me, it reads 420445, the first 5 have black background and the final digit (5) has white background, to be honest i have never even given it any thought before as i knew the car was in excellent mechanical order for its age.

That last number will be in increments of 100m.

Check it out next time you go for a drive.

If i'm right the car will have done 42045.5km

Good luck
