Don't take the first announcement as any indication. There are lots of rumours floating around of some big name acts. You'll just have to wait for the second announcement.....

Bring it on the big day out is gold! As if you just go for the music - it's all about the atmosphere too! This'll be my 8th BDO running, haven't missed one since i was 17.

bloody hell wats the matter with you guys? i reckon its the best lineup in years....... Iggy pop and the stooges, white stripes, kings of leon (my fave), Franz ferdinand, the mars volta, the magic numbers are awesome too....
That said, one more big name band (ive heard rumours of the pixies? but those have been goin round for years) would really make it awesome

I'm still Bleeding that I couldn't get to Melbourne for it in 1997 :
Soundgarden, Fear Factory, The Prodigy, The Offspring, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, You Am I, Powderfinger, The Superjesus, Frente, Spiderbait, Deadstar, FSOM, The Fauves, Frenzal Rhomb, Beasts Of Bourbon, Dave Graney And The Coral Snakes.
Did I mention this was on Soundgarden's last EVER tour?!?!?! and this list is just the bands I wanted to see - Grrrr! ! 
That's not nearly as funny as My mate who was there, but got dragged away before He saw any good bands, coz his ride back home was hot and wanted to go to the BEACH ! ! !

i just bought my ticket then and the guy said that sydney will be sold out by the end of the week. so anyone who hasnt got their ticket yet better hurry.
