Daihatsu CB70 Twin Cam 12V Intercooled Turbo engine + gearbox from Japanese model Charade GTti and GT-XX.

Engine will suit conversion into any G11, G100 and G200 Charade which I have details on how to perform each of these conversions.

I bought a complete front cut and removed the engine and gearbox and it has been sitting in the corner of my garage ever since. Cut had 54,000km on the dash and spot on compression across all cylinders when pulled out. Engine has not been installed in any vehicle and came out of a completely standard vehicle.

These engines are in virtually nil supply in Australia and Japan and have become very rare.

I can supply engine with a complete parts list of all internal engine parts which can be purchased through local Toyoyta/Daihatsu dealers. I can also supply a workshop manual for the engine in English.

The reason I am selling as I have three of these babies and a complete GTti car and it's really doing nothing sitting in the corner of my garage.

Guys just to let you know my charade ran a 14.7 in a G200 in pretty much standard form. These motors are great. 600ks from a tank, daily driver with kick ass performance. Pretty hard to beat.

I just read your sig... believe it or not JUN Racing actually did make parts for these. I missed out on a auction a year ago on Ebay for a JUN Racing lightweight flywheel. Shocked

I actually have a question. When you put these engines into the G11's what gearbox do you use? If you use the gearbox from a gtti do you need to modify the driveshafts or are they all the same lengths?

I used to own a Carby turbo G11 and it was mad. A twin cam engine would have been so cool.

Actually I used to munch driveshafts all the time with the carby turbo so I doubt they would hold up to a Twin Cam's Power...

Gtti gearbox is the go although you can use the G100 box .
