has anyone bought one of these kits? thoughts?
my car runs extremely rich when it hits full boost and this may be one way of solving the black smoke problems.

how about tuning it better?
because running rich at boost is much better and safer than than suddenly expiring at boost due to running lean.

Proper tuning is the go - you should be able to run rich enough to be safe, but not have shovel-loads of soot pouring out everywhere (i.e. 10:1 AFR is stupid)

the engine runs naturally rich, and an aftermarket ecu won't make a big difference without risking damage (so my mechanic says..).
back to the question at hand.. has anyone tried one of these kits? the other option is to remove the catylic converter.. but i'd assume the first would be far less illegal, only attracting a yellow sticker rather than a big fine.

if you are runnign rich, your cat may melt and block and then get all the flames you want
maybe you should be asking on the mitsumods forum

well if you want flames!
go ahead, do you want flames all the time or just on trailing throttle? you could make a kit yourself, just put the plug near the exhaust tip so it doesnt burn out your mufflers.
