Anyone know if it's possible to put these on 180* off?
I decided to check my base timing earlier saturday and was suprised to find that the timing marks were almost opposite to where they should have been. I ended up assuming that it was 180 out and used #2 cylinder to set it.
Seems fine but it'd be nice to know why the pulley timing marks arent where they should be.

more likely your dizzy is out?

i would assume that the pulley would only have one keyway in it.

you need to check the timing from below. the timing mark is 180deg out from the stock pulley as you have to cut off the standard timing pointer. you bolt up a little timing marker to the sump pan and check it from underneath Smile

Ah thankyou, just the answer I wanted Smile
I was figuring something along those lines because it was a real pain to spot where the timing mark on the plastic cover was, AND find the timing mark. Atleast I know #2 is a reliable way of setting it.
