Ok,
This is probably simple but its giving me the shits as i cant work out how to fix it..
For some reason microsoft frontpage is now my default program to open pictures,but it doesnt open them
How do i go back to paint or whatever it should be..
Thanks and yes i am a little slow

Open windows explorer.
Go to the tools menu.
Go to folder options.
Go to file types.
Find the file type your haveing trouble with and highlight it and hit the change button. Then find the app you want to use.

When you open folder options, there should be a tab at the top called file types.

Ok got into where it says file types but its in my docs? there is a bunch of different frontpage things,i changed the one which said somthing about pictures but it didnt do anything.

Allright i changed every single frontpage related thing to paint and it is still trying to open attachments with frontpage!!!!
Ive never even used front page FFS

go to windows explorer, go to a pic file that opens spastically,
right click, select "open with", choose the prog you want, adn then...
tick the "always open with this program" (sorry mine's in japanese.. no pics) and then click ok or whatever...
should be sweet moight

Cool,thanks heaps,i changes all jpeg related to fax and picture viewer and it has sorted it.

I remember the day i started out with the good onld 286 blue chip that was a mother of computers that thing, and had the 5" floppy's which were really floppy. And the graphics wow. the good onld days

5 and 1/4 damn you we had them in the Commodore 64, the 486 and the 286 laptop, man was that thing a weapon, think current laptops are heavy with it's base this thing would of been 15-20kg lol. Black and white screen, slow as shit.

nope its actually not that slow at all.
its an ibm thinkpad 600E, runs heaps faster than my mates laptop which is a compaq 763 MHz or something around there.
