Hello all,
For all those that get all warm and fuzzy when they talk or dream about 4AGEs in Formula Atlantic trim it is time for you to start shopping as there should be some relatively cheap Atlantic spec engines on the market soon.
Why?
Because in 2006 Cosworth takes over:

Why would they get cheaper Paul? Being from a soon-to-be bygone era I would have thought they would become somewhat collectible and even more sought after than they are now.
Anyway, that's the way I see it. I'd love to see them come down in price though. One of those sitting in the garage would be a very sweet thing indeed.

Are you sure Jeremy?
Sought after by who? The very same people who can't afford them now I guess.
Still there should also be some nice V10s floating around soon (you always need options) as that little circus called F1 goes to V8s next season.......

To be honest I am suprised that the 4AGE lasted as long as it did in formula atlantic.
They are a great engine but they are fairly old now and reasonably outdated.
For a development series to have stuck with them says a lot for how good the engine is/was.
