something for the *a6* community.
heres a pic of some work i did on my rear crossmember over the last days. its all back together and solid mounted now...

Groovy, but I was under them impression that you couldn't get 'that' much (as much as it looks like you hope to get judging by the slot length ) adjustment before binding coccus?
Let us know how much adjustment you find that you can get
Also if I was you I would think about welding in a bit of gusseting like the factory setup has.
Otherwise looks great

Agreed... those aren't the nicest looking welds I've ever seen, and you'll be in trouble if something lets go mid-corner!
Also, what are you using for camber bolts?

Not to rain on your parade there, but that ain't gonna work too well for the details pointed out above.
The brackets will not be strong enough in the long term, and ther is no way that you'd get that engineered.
Mind you, I still haven't done mine yet, so maybe I shound be a bit quiet.....
