gz20 trip meter and clock prob

Hi chaps,got a little problem with my clock and trip meter.
the clock just stoped working but the trip meter does not hold its memory,and thats anoying.
it is a 1G gen 3 soarer ihave checked all the fuses i could find but got nothing.
any hints

it sounds like it is loosing power evertime you turn the car off. Have you had any electrical items installed recently?

no not since the problem occured,i thought it may have been a hidden inline fuse or a dodgey batt or some such shit,the trip still works up until you turn the car off and then lose the trip memory

yeah thats what i meant. Since your trip meter is digital it needs to recieve power when the car is turned off, same with the clock. If this power is not supplied to it whn the car is turned off it will reset.
Its the same if you disconnect your battery, the clock resets, the trip meter rests, and if you have an aftermarket head unit all the radio stations reset.
