hey guys
ive got a few very rare body kits. and i want to make copy's.
basically i just want to know.
how to make the mould?
how to layer the fibreglass?
where to buy fibreglass in bulk?
cheers any info would be appreciated

best advice would be to head to the library.
basically, provided its an open shape, pva/wax the item, gelcoat, layup the glass and you have a mould.
as for layering the glass...just wet it out with resin and whack it down, then run it over with a roller. it will depend on what glass you use...csm, roving, different weights, no of layers etc.
i find the best place to go is a fibre glass shop! usually boat builders sell it in bulk.
but its not easy if its your first time. doing something like a body kit first up is a bit much. practice practice practice

Start there.. Look for a local supplier for resins, and related supplies like mould release, rollers etc. Make a few practice runs with bumpers off old shitters. Fibreglass has an expensive learning curve before you start to figure out all the ins and outs and start producing quality. Make sure you have good sanding/cutting tools and coveralls
