After hours of staring at the body loom, i realised that i need the ecu pin outs for the ae 92 and wires for that too. What do you do for the 12p plug and where did you get the info for it (pin outs and colours etc).

so far it looks like this for me

20 v map Wire Colours ECU pinout description

pin 1 - +B1
2 RW BATT
3 Light green CCQ or CCO
4 - FC
5 BY AC2
6 RY ACT
7 BR +B
8 R yellow or orange or light brown....unsure W
9 R EGW
10 BW AC1
11 VW SPD SP1
12 B ELE2

That is what I have seen to the best of my poor vision. If what is there helps
you to help me PLEASE HELP ME. I am a little confused with it all now.

Also what of that loom do i need

Leigh

Hey this may not help, but have you checked the Blacktop 4age pin-outs to see if they correspond with your Silvertop map??

pin 1 - +B1
Switched power supply - output of EFI relay.
2 RW BATT
Constant battery power - usually from EFI or STOP fuse.
3 Light green CCQ or CCO
Exhaust temperature sensor - don't worry about it.
4 - FC
Fuel cut - activates circuit opening relay, active low. AFM models have this coming off the AFM.
5 BY AC2
NOt sure, something to do with communication between the A/C controller and the ECU.
6 RY ACT
Ditto.
7 BR +B
Switched power supply - output of EFI relay.
8 R yellow or orange or light brown....unsure W
RY Warning - check engine light in dash, active low.
9 R EGW
Exhaust Gas Warning - exh temp sensor light - don't worry.
10 BW AC1
A/C clutch control line.
11 VW SPD SP1
Speed sensor input.
12 B ELE2
ELS? Electrical load sense (or similar). Apply 12V when accessories are running (eg lights, demister, heater, etc).

Is this the information you were after?

The AE92 4AGE pinouts are slightly different (on the notes that I have - descriptions as above unless otherwise stated):
1,7 +B1, +B
2 BATT
3 SEL (No idea)
4 FC
5 ELS1 GW - brake light switch.
6 -
8 W
9 -
10 A/C BW - A/C compressor clutch
11 SPD
12 ELS2 - idle up diode (accessories).

The only additional plug that I can think of atm is the Circuit opening relay plug and relay (5 pins with green relay body), usually hangs around the 12 pins plug.

HTH.
Mos.
