What's it worth?? Full Motec Computer System.

I have a motec M800 fully setup for a 1J or 2J, with MSD capacitor discahrge ignition.
That is the setup like this worth? The loom is complete with all sensors including extras like, wideband lambda, delco boost controler valve and idle bypass.
All it needs is an earth and ignition power to make it run.
I know what it cost to buy, what is it going to sell for??

What other functions do you have enabled on the M800 apart from the WBL?

No, the M400's are closer to $3500. The M800's would be more. (not sure how much more though sorry)

Hmmm ... that's a lot lower than I thought they'd be.
There may well have been a price drop, sorry if I missed it!

Bill, loom and sensors will add another ~$500 (1 bar MAP sensor - more fr 2, 3 or 5 bar). Maybe that is the discrepancy?
If you enabled VCT, then that's another 800ish, and I think WBL is roughly 8-900 with oxygen sensor.

the ones we use in the racecares are around the $15000 mark with all the sensors{shock travel, roll, dash logger etc etc etc}}and they go up on that aswell.
id say its worth as much as you can get for it.start at $4500 or so and see what happens.

then there's the problem of it being used.
Really, it depends entirely on demand. in the Toymod$ for sale section, you'll probably start off with offers of $100-$1000, but you might get a few serious offers. If, as GT says, it's ~$1300 for the extras you have, that takes price up to $4800.
depending on how old it is, what it looks like, condition of oxy sensor etc, you could get anywhere from $2.5k - $4k. your biggest problem will be that most people with that much money toburn on an ECU are also willing to pay extra to get a new one

It only has WBL enabled.
It is not for sale, yet. I have to see what i am doing.
I was thinking of an Ebay auction, with a reserve around $3000??
I'll see how i go.

From Capa's website:
M800 Enabled: $3527.70
M880 Pro Mil-spec Enabled: $4931.19
M800 Basic (not enabled): $2090.00
M880 ECU - PRO MIL SPEC (not enabled) $3493.49
The enabled ECU's include all optional software components turned on.
The Pro ECU's have some additional data-logging memory as well as the Mil-spec connectors.
You can blow some decent cash on some of the sensors though... especially on the accelerometer based sensors and strain gauges!

To try and value it up...
13001 M800 ECU $2090.00
24102 M400 SINGLE WIDEBAND LAMBDA $881.89
61019 M800 LOOM & SENSORS (TURBO) $492.93
57001 LAMBDA SENSOR WIDEBAND, BOSCH LSM $332.51
58001 BOOST CONTROL VALVE (DELCO) $162.23
I don't know what the MSD CDI is worth but the Autronic is about $1k.
The ISCV isn't worth much... maybe $10 from Pickies off a crumpledoor.
Total price new (except ISCV) $4969.56
Also remember this is from Capa and it is their list price both of which are known to be a bit highly priced.
I personally don't think it would be worth $3k second hand but if somewas happened to have a 1J and wanted a Motec it could be well worth it.

dont go of capa princing as they are way over the top on everything.i hate dealing with them as they dont like to play a normal game.they try to hit me hard on trade and then want things of me for an extra speacial price!
