Rear End Noise - No Fart Jokes Please

Hi guys,
I have a 1990 Hiace van - Been having trouble with a noise that comes from the diff or rear end area.
A few weeks ago i replaced the diff centre with one that is in great condition and also replaced both wheel bearings.
The noise is a wurring noise and is constant and increases in volume as you speed up.
What is weird is that if u turn a hard left corner, the noise seems to go away ( almost as if youre picking up the rear left wheel.
Anyone got any ideas???
Thanks.

possibly scrubbing of some sort, and when u turn the corner the weight is lifted off increasing clearances in the wheel arch ending the noise....
either that or both diffs are suffering from similar problems??

Disconnect your tailshaft, and rotate it through 90 Degrees, then re- fit. A small imbalance is possible, and sometimes can be fixed, by the above method.
Other than that get it up on a hoist, and check for noises while running in gear.
cheers Chuck.
