Rightyo 1st Post.
Has anyone done the "non pop up" headlight conversion that you see in the rally pics. I reckon its looks awesome and would like to do it to my 162 now that I have time to get it up to spec. If anyone has or knows how to do it I'd appreciate hearing from you. My St204 is the daily car now so my ST 165 is about to be born.....
Thanks all

Have you tried disconnecting the wires from the electric motors than move the headlight up, after they are up, so they stay up?
I would guess that this would still keep the headlights operating as normal....

You'd have to pull apart the headlight assembly, take the light / beam bit out, throw away the motor mechanism and make up a bracket that will hold the light in place. Wouldn't be too hard to do. That pic is of the TTE GrpA WRC car from the late 80's... hardly anyone knows what that is so I doubt you'll find a kit for it. Good luck!

I Had a nose-cut from a st162 with fixed light's
I it was a st162 corona exive but it looked like a st162 but with rectangle lights and different grill.
Not sure if we throw it out thinking no-one will want that or if it is siting in a corner gathering dust somewhere.
I will have a look tomorrow and get back.
