Yeah a chat room would be good but then we'd have another excuse to spend time on the net...don't we all spend too much time on here already???
I think I could too easily get addicted to a toymods chatroom...

I agree with you - can definately get info quicker, if the gurus are in the chat room all day. The chat room would be useful to get rid of all the non-mod stuff off the forum (not that it bothers me).
I just like seeing it in the forums as I said previously as you can do searches at later stages on that article that you read about 3 months earlier.
Also, the question you have may be of interest to the 300 pple that are at work and can't be part of the conversations in the chat room and miss out.

the chat room is a reasonable idea. i been there a couple times, what annoyed me was that you couldn't minimise it and check out all the other forums i'm on. cause every time i left i had to load it up again.  i know it was because of the chat room server or something, but if it was like msn, it would have been better. maybe if you decide on a certain night, for people to chat, open a room/topic on msn chat, post where it is or something (like under general chat), then those who want to chat get onto msn on the designated day or night and chat. msn is free. thats my $0.01 worth (i think our dollar is worth less now?) 
sorry rollaboy, i just noticed on your thread that you WERE talking about msn, DOH!  i must be tied  or something  like last night!
