just incase anyone is interested i gota 89 model vr4 galant for sale. its a 15yr old import but hasnt yet been complied (has import approval).
its an auto model with 136000k on the clock and runs perfect, i cant stress how well it runs, its excellent to drive. it blows no smoke at all and everything works properly on it. its got electric windows, mirrors, climate control etc. the interior is excellent, and the body is good apart from rust in the sill pannels, which has been bogged up at some stage. ive bought the car as is and was gonna rego it but circumstances change and now it needs to go.
This is the John Verban one...have you done much to it since you bought it? He had it advertised for about $3k, so I assume you've done some work to it?
even being an auto its still a fair bit quicker than the 3tg turbo corona and its dead standard.
really its too good of a car to pull apart, but im trying to make my money back so if it has to be in pieces than so be it, and having looked at the price of a front cut and the cost of an engine i think that its value for money.
i also got $400 worth of brand new seatbelts for it aswell.
im seriously considering dropping the engine into a ke10 rolla i got laying around, that would be mental

very cheap considering my brother paid $10K for a manual one i with a larger turbo and sorted suspension. At the time he was looking a that or a liberty RS and he said performance wise the galant was alot better. he has upped the boost in his and it is bloody fast.
