use all soarer bits except for the 1j a/c compressor

doin the wiring using all 1j bits will be a massive job

its much easier to run std soarer a/c system and wiring then just wire up the 1j compressor to the soarer

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the advice, dunno why i didn't think of asking you. So i need to track myself down a 1j compressor and then what are the names of the other parts required that come from a soarer as i'm not too clued up on what parts make up the air con system, ie condensor etc??

I still gotta fix you up for sorting out me loose wire on my soarer, haven't forgotten. If your able to i might get ya to hook up my air con for me if thats cool.

thanks

Joel

mate wouldn't the A/C compressor still be on the 1j? or did you have it taken off and a different belt setup put on? just thinking that with the mutli rib belt that goes all over everything then it would need the a/c compressor or a replacement item to keep the belt taught? or am i on glue?

firstly i bought the car with the 1j in it and obviously no air con and secondly i have to say i'm not really qualified so to speak to know if it's still on there but i shall now get someone who knows what they're looking at to tell me cos by your description it may well be on there yeah. I don't even know where the compressor goes or what it looks like so i guess you could say i'm pretty clueless in regards to this matter. Thanks for your input Matt, appreciated

had a look and didn't seem to be there which to make sure i had someone to confirm so it has been removed with the rest of the gear. If anyone has a 1j compressor for salr or any of the other air con parts from a standard z20 soarer let me know, thanks
