1985 sprinter stock worth??

Hi all
Today I was walking home (suspended licence..  ) and while crossing the main street I saw what I thought was an AE86, I asked the lady if she was selling it, she gave me a phone number and said to call. Later I found an ad which amazingly was the same car from a while back, advertised for 11 grand.
It was a stock standand Sprinter,(1985) that she bought from toyota, and apparently toyota sent her on a holiday to Singapore?? (Im only 19 so I guess free holidays with cars were a bit before my time). 150,000 ks reguarly serviced, but probably a hard 150 where I live, not sure what engine, all I know is 1.8...anyway what would you think its worth? 11 seems a bit high...

Also,
she claimed it was one of 400 or 600 imported?? wether she meant the area or australia not sure..if that helps

well ..... if you think about it any 1985 car being 20+ years old should only be $2000 if that ...
but i guess its a sprinter , so $20k

It may be a Levin. There were a handful imported with 4AGEs and other JDM goodies.

Yeah, there was a buch imported specially so they could race the 86 in the touring car c.ship. They had all the good stuff, including swanky interior, full disks etc.
Considering a JDM import will sell for 6-8 grand, mabey more for a modded one, then if this car is in good nick then it could be worth as much. If its in absolutely mint stocker condition then mabey, just mabey 11 grand

I looked on redbook, only goes for 1 to 3 grand nationally. The car isnt for me, its for a girl, It has the levin lights at the front, but the back looked later eighties,rounder, like definate it was an 85 model.., and dont laught at 100kws, my celica makes 87...

yes it is that one, remember its for a chick, but 11 grand? is it gold plated? and dont worry, it was never going to be a drifter, just a daily driver..

You checked the red book yourself, did it say anything about
a 1.8l engine, no it didnt! at all! ever!
the 4A-C has like 58kw at fly, its a carby'd sohc 1.6l
but if she's got an imported AE86, meaning its got a fuel
injected twin can 1.6l with better front brakes, perhaps
an lsd with disk brakes all round, power about 86kw to 95kw depending on who you ask
I'm not sure the avg market value for jdm AE86's in australia is
but considering there popularity, i wouldnt be surprised if she's
asking for what she deserves

its not a 1.8 4ac with vtec thats a boxer engine with quad cams and direct injection with and electric turbo that has a tial external wastegate with a 4 icnh exhaust and tien coilovers as standard model is it? they are worth atleast $11k.

its a one thousand eight hundred litre, thats a pretty big engine.
saw this a while back.
that ebay ad is hilarious, i hope they are just fishing.
it's worth 3,500 bucks maaaaybeye 4000 if the Ks are genuine.

that url was posted up a few weeks back i remember everyone was giving the desription shit. he claimed to get 100 kw out of a 4 ac and couldnt stop bragging about how many people drift them. Some one must have informed him on wat he really has

Lol I actually saw this on ebay a few weeks ago and thought "OMFG Takumi Tax has spread to ebay and multiplied!" ahhah.
I actually sent an email to the person telling them they had no hope in HELL of getting 11/12 grand for it let alone 4. I mean come on you can buy 5-6 year old cars for that price these days, not fkn 20 year old cars... Especially considering the thing is shtock.
Lol @ 1,800 Litre engine. That'd own ANY engine  . I can see god crusing around in his 150 meter wide car right now

yeh pretty much hey, when i was there, pubs day and night, i love the union hey, so easy to pick up girls there, i didnt like the red lion, group of kooris didnt like me......

well thank my great grandfather!he owned and built 90% of the hotels ant picture thearters in the riverina!leeton,yanco,griffth,young etc.we only sold out in the lat 80's i grew up in the hydro in leeton and the other said hotels we had 12 of them!the memorys or red wallpaper with gold leaf still haunts me!
