I desperately need some help!!!!!!!
I have a 1992 Celica SX and need to know how I can change
from a twin cam to a quad cam. I need prices (estimates would help), who to contact and what I'll need to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ummm....
stick a 1uzfe in???? Confused

I'm pretty sure that to have a quad cam your engine needs to be a V desing... like a V6 or a V8.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah quad cam is just a twin cam engine in either V or flat layout, because these configurations use 2 heads, and 2 cams in each head equals 4 cams.
They're just twin cams with 2 heads.

Okay, quad-cam is just the same as a twin-cam, its just they are in two banks of cylinders. ie. a V8 has two banks of cylinders and two heads.
The 1UZFE is a 4l V8 (which would not fit in your Celica as its FWD) with quad-cams. This just means it basically has two twin-cam heads, one for each bank of cylinders.

Hey guys,
a litte off topic but...
have there ever been a FWD V8??

Apart from that why not cut and shut the Celica and make it RWD !
I personall think the Celica's went down hill after the RA28...
