Apexi AVCR Mounting Thu, 27 October 2005 12:01 Go to next message
Hi Everyone

I am looking at getting an Apexi AVCR for my car but I can’t find the dimensions of the display unit
Dose any one have these or can you tell me if it will fit into a DIN pocket?

Thanks
Jono

I placed mine infront of the rear view mirror and ran the wiring down that a pillar to the ECU, looked profesh and is away from most cops eyes at an RBT, unless they stick their fat head in the window.... Very Happy

Sorry mate, no pic. I just bent the legs of the stand to suit the shape of the plastic cover at the end of the rear view arm (its easy to take off with a screwdriver)

I drilled some holes and bolted it in as epoxy only held it up for a couple weeks at a time.

I angled the screen so that the top of it was just touching the room trim, and pushed the wiring under the roof trim where it meets the windscreen, removed the a-pillar trim and fed the wiring behind that...easy as pie.
