I need a steering rack for Toyota Soarer 89 model.

this is what i need. i am not sure if this would fit my car, but this is actually the part.
look under the following topic:
Classifieds -> Wheels, tyres, suspensions and brakes -> V8 Soarer Crosmember complete
the actual crosmember is stuffed up and ideally, that is the part i'd neer to replace.

The part you refer to above is for a later model Soarer, so no it won't fit. Now do you need the crossmember, or the steering rack - I have it all here?!

 the "rack" is the bit that has arms that bolt onto the rear side of the front wheels, It moves from side to side when you turn the big wheel in front of the drivers chair. it should make the wheels move from side to side as well.the crossmember is the big metal bit that the"rack" bolts to.it hopefully, does not move .Which bit do you want?I have a "rack" from a 99 Chaser that could fit, as they used a lot of common parts. it is A1 and $100 .you are welcome to check it out.

I have complete cross member and steering rack, out of 1989 toyota soarer. Excellent condition. $200 pickup. or $250 delivered.
