2TG gear for sale! Sat, 29 October 2005 06:16 Go to next message
Hey all, Well i really need to clear up some space in my garage and i have all this 2TG stuff left over from past builds etc... just collecting dust and it not any use to me now since i've got a sprinter.
If there is something you are after in particular that i havent mentioned on this post, let me know and i might have it Smile
I have...
1: 2TG carbs and manifold (not sure what condition but i may have another spare set of carbs to go with it (So all up 4 carbys Smile $250 ono

2:I have 3 2TG heads... 1 has BIG cams in it but might need a couple of valves to be shimed and also it has pitted No.1 Ex lobe (not mayjor) $200 ono
Another head is a complete 88262 head.. comes with pistons and tensions etc... make an offer
And the last head is a completly striped 2TG head.. just needs valves and cams etc (has been faced and seats have been cut etc)
$80 ono

3: a 2TG-EU manifold with injectors and throttle body (i think) but 1 injector is F**ked as when the engine was running with this setup it was missing on 1 cylinder. $100 ono

4:Thermo fan plus thermostat which sense's it to stop or turn on Smile $80 ono

5:I have 2 2TG blocks... 1 with a crank thats knacked (can supply another crankshaft with block if needed) and the other is just a bare block... which can house the 3T crank without any maching Very Happy Both need a rebore etc, make an offer

6: I also have shitloads of 2TG pistons lol, make an offer.

If you think of anything you need, just ask and i might have it Smile Also if you want more pics, also just ask lol

Is that the big long runner that sit in the head?
Or is it the one that can be adjusted by that tensioner on the side of the head?

Il offer $50 pickup for the efi manifold + throttle body, and i wont need the injectors.. Im going to attempt to retrofit this manifold to the 3tgte head..

I think i have a set off the 44mm ones but they didnt work to well when i put them on... I do have a set of the 40mm 2TG ones with manifold, And i'm pretty sure they work, I'd like to sell the 4 carbys together as you can use the carbys that dont work to make sum good one Very Happy

Simon,

You think you have a two 44mm Mikunis, then can you post a picture of the throttle plate end of them, clearly showing the number stamped on the plate?

If cannot get picture can you post the number up.

Then I can decide if I'll make an offer for all 4.

Rodger,
There are no casting numbers on the carbs (on the throttle side of it) and all the stickers that have the numbers on it are missing... Also i cant get a photos of them until i get my digi cam back (tuesdays nite... Sorry)
If u still want pics, I'll have them up by then... sorry for the delay

I think he's not asking for cast numbers from the carb body, but actually the numbers _stamped_ in the _throttle vanes_. Hope this helps.

There 165 on the butterfly them selfs...
I think they might be a 2TG carb.... they just look quite different to the normal 2TG ones i have...

I Also have a 2TG manual forsale (for the right price) tis is good condition
Also have the 1200 corolla manual..
here are pics
