late (84-85) ke70/ae71 had the bigger headlights, most of em came out in 5spd (4k or 4a)
rust in the boot is common (near taillight) and rear archs
sample of the headlights (main cosmetic difference)
diffs also can be a minior problem

Yeah all the KE70/AE71 models came out with the same pissy little diff... I havent even been close to blowing the thing with a 4k though, so they arent too bad... But I imagine my 4age is going to break it very quickly...
The KE70/AE71 has the exact same floorpan and wheelbase as the TE71/TE72, and ofcourse the infamous AE86...
80-82 = Early Model KE70 with square headlights and shovel nosed bumper.
83-84.9 = Late Model KE70 and the AE71 was released.
This is my 85 model KE70 before 4AGE, same as 83 & 84 models and same as AE71. AE71 just has a different driveline that is a straight swap if you need to do a 4AGE conversion on the KE70.
