I have a fuel rail with the pressure regulator on it but I'm not sure if it's smallport or bigport.
Do you know if there is an easy way to tell the difference ?

Scorpion,
Short of setting the regulator up on a fuel rail and measuring the pressure, I have no idea on how to distinguish the pressure of the regulator yet.
I have a 4AGZE (2.55kg/cm2)regulator with the number
DENSO 1240 23280 16051 on it.
I'm guessing the the 2.9kg/cm2 reg on the smallport 16v has a different part number.
LeighP can you tell us the numbers on both of your regulators please?

Looks identical to a 2JZGTE fuel pressure regulator in the way it mounts to the fuel rail and they are 3Bar base fuel pressure from memory.
