you might like to consider motorbike starter motors. they come in a bit range of sizes, mounting configurations and power. something off a like a 1000cc roadbike might do the trick. might need an engineering place to put your drive gear on the custom starter though. is worth a look id say.

Reduction gear starters are usually quite a bit thinner than the 'regular' ones, but sorry, don't have any recommendations as to which S motors had them

i know the 2s has gear reduction.
maybe u could use the gear reduction part and use a smaller starter ?
