Hi everyone, i have an 82 Celica and im looking to get a new engine for it. Im looking for a 1G-GTE: 2.0L DOHC EFI 24V intercooled twin turbo inline six cylinder. Does any one know where i can get one, and how much it would cost me?

Put this in the parts wanted before it gets deleted by a mod. also, use a descriptive title, such as "WTB 1GGTE"

howdy, firstly put up your location, we don't even know if your in Australia. If you have a location, people from the country or most proberly state can tell you the best place to get one. Also best advice would be to get a halfcut cause it'll have everything to make the engine run.
Also if you do get a engine or halfcut get someone who know about motors to come with you to check it out and make sure you get the best for your money.
Also with the 1G-GTE engine theres three different version.
GEN I - GEN II - GEN III
Gen three is the best for power and is the "newest" out of them.
Gen III halfcuts go for around $1800-$2200 for autos and $2200 + for manuals. This can differ depending on your location and quality of the halfcut.
have a search on the forum and learn what there is to know about the engine, your car and how hard it is to put in.
