i have none , because when you have tattoos , you cannot get a quality job.

although i do have a hankering to get something very small maybe on my Bicep or back of the arm between elbow and shoulder

dont laugh but i got
LBZ with a motoie chain around it down my leg
54 branded (burnt) into my arm smallish
the tat was done by me with el home built jail spec gun
i still carnt remeber how i got the 54 on my arm and when
the things you do when your off your head

I've got half sleeves and some chest and back pieces. I got my first one at Bob Wood's shop at Bankstown in 1978.

Totally untrue. Depending on what you call a quality job. You would be surprised how many people are in over 60000 per annum who have heaps of tatts. Jeez miners don't get out of bed for less than 80000 and they are usually covered like a yakuza.
I got two traditional Indigenous tattoos but about due to get heaps more (No more anti tattoo bitch gf yayyyy!)

I'll agree with you there all my nieghbours sons have tats and many have worked in a variety of rolls in professional organisations like NAB etc all earning over 70K etc. Besides most tats would be covered by a long sleeve shirt anyway.

i dont think getting a job would be a problem, depends on the tat. my mrs has been going nuts to get one for the past 5 years but im not TOO keen on tats on chics. but what she wants aint too bad so i mgiht get one too. BUT im a bitch with pain, cant even stand needles and the places id like to get them are supposed to be the more painful places ie elbows, ribs etc.

going some time time next week to get "no dice" on the inside of my lower lip. mmm, prison tatts
Getting a big flaming pheonix and scenery back piece - have strated drawing but i suck and need help from graphically talented friends. Have drawn up right calf piece too-samurai on back of leg and traditional writing (bushido law/beliefs) along front
And going to get swallows/finches in the nook between collar bone and neck
that's me for ideas for the moment as im a poor 1st year apprentice trying to fix up 2 cars. Probs wont strat any pieces until 3rd year or round abouts, but at least i have time to perfect drawing them up

I've been wanting to get one around the bicep, like the maori style, forget what it was called 
Been wanting it for the past year or so, but havent had the chance to pay $3-400 for it  IMO, dont think it'd affect your job opportunities, coz you'll turn up in a long sleeved shirt and maybe a jacket as well...

saw some guy with TRD between his shoulderblades the other week, did look pretty schmick i must say.
i've always liked the idea of the celica dragon on the back of my calf or on the inside of my wrist. got to be red ink though

I have 5 tats, 2 on each arm, 1 on right calf.
All done in my teens & biker days. The one on my leg was done in Brissy, the rest by a guy in The Cross.
I have heard that they will hinder you getting some jobs if they can't be covered during work hours, IE: long sleeve shirt,long pants & top button of shirt done up.
Ok so that covers the first two questions 'where','when' now for the 'why'. At the time I came up with a good reason for each one. But, I now think the true reason was 'I was a dickhead teen'.
If you ever have trouble with the cops, they take photos of them and use them to help ID someone, This however has its good points if you are only a body that they find.
Good ones these days are not cheap. I still see some that I think are great works of art but, I would not get any more.

yeh, some of my mates are very happy with that place. A bit more expensive than other places, but they do awesome jobs and don't pull shifties

this guy gets interviewed on the street. he has all these tattoos
he has this big tattoo on his stomach " HIEDI "
he said the tattoist spelt it wrong it was spose to be " HEIDI "
I also had a mate who got a dragon tattoo on his arm . A really long one wrapping around. the tattooist forgot to put its legs on
