I'm after a Toyota Celica gt4 between the years of 1990 and 1993. Black duco in good condition, low kms, and a sunroof would be great. Manual with minimal modifications. Really appreciate if anyone can hunt this baby down for me, ive been looking for sooo long. Thanks guyssssssssss!

These occasionally pop up on these forums. So keep your eyes peeled. Also try searching, and PMing members about their cars. Try not to post in old threads though, as people get angry.
BTW, have you tried www.carsales.com.au, www.drive.com.au, www.tradingpost.com.au, and www.autoline.com.au?
Hope this helps mate,
DP

Oh, and make sure you consider insurance costs before buying. I know I didn't! It was like $4400 to insure a ST165 GT4 for me . Now I am in the process of buying a Corolla Seca SX. Much, MUCH cheaper on insurance.

I was in this prediciment a while a couple of months back, and through the trading post I looked at one that was only 20minutes from my house that fits your criteria, but it is sold now I am pretty sure. I wouldn't buy it as the sunroof didn't give me enough headroom.
I ended up buying one that was advertized on www.carsguide.com.au for about $5000, as my project car, and thanks to the help of a couple of people on these forums it should be on the road in a couple of weeks. Try puting an automated search in all the car sales sites that will email you if any new GT4's are advertized on there sites, and scour the sites weekly/ daily. Thats what I did.
Where abouts in Vic are you, I will keep an eye out for you.
There is one advertized on prestige motorsport for about $8900 that doesn't look to bad.
I love being old, insurance for mine has come in as low as $450, with 3 mods, exhaust, suspension, wheels.

this is weird
Widebody != JDM Regular GT-Four
Group A == Widebody
This celica, group A front bar, but NOT group-a bonnet. I suspect it's not a group a at all, because, that bonnet would be silly given the cooling setup on the w/a on a group a
BTW, the first Group-As were manufactured late 1989, and the first one brought into Australia like Dec/Jan 89/90
