This car has served me well, but now after almost 400000kms i have had enough and it's time to say goodbye...
It was running fine until a couple of weeks ago when the timing belt slipped and now i suspect bent valves.
Has Kings super low springs and Gabriel gas struts (lowering the car by 52mm)
Selling whole - $400
Will part out - good doors and panels, good interior, everything under the hood is in good running condition except of course the head.

thu187 wrote on Sat, 12 November 2005 05:49 | CS-X's are DOHC
CS's are SOHC
So tt's either a SOHC CS
or a DOHC CS-X
but it can't be a SOHC CS-X

This is not true.
AE82 = 8 valve SOHC, except for the twin cam 4age
AE92 = 16 valve DOHC

$200 for suspension bits.
Yes, it is the 4A-C CS-X which is 8V SOHC Carby.
I had my fuel consumption down to 5.5l/100km on the old donk with LRP and with less emission controls. One of the advantages of a 1985 corolla... Damn this ULP shite.
Anyway, still thinking of just dropping in another engine. Anyone know wher I could get one cheap?
