SILYCAR is back on the road *Respray Number 3*

Start Long Story.....
The SILYCAR is back on the roads and.... I GET TO DRIVE IT AGAIN! it was in the paint shop from Monday the 10th October and was off the road since the 3rd... I didnt get to drive it for 3.5 weeks due to me fucking up the timing... (thats what the whole talk about the 3sgte was about)
On Sunday night (2nd October) a few weeks ago i went for a hills run, i was taking it easy as i had bogans in a commy trying to keep up behind me.. anywayz came up and around a corner and lost all power, so i pulled over and heard a loud knocking noise.. wasnt happy about this.. turned the engine off, popped the bonnet... found a glowing exhaust manifold and slight smoke coming out of the dipstick.. called the RAA, he came out and found my problem straigh away (picture number 1)...
anywayz the SILYCAR had to be taken home on a tow truck.. this was the first time ever it had met a tow truck and i was freaking coz of the front bar (they put it on backwards) (picture number 2)
anywayz, took it home, unable to drive, thinking it was the cam shaft idler tension pulley thingy (as u could see it was fucked) the next week (Monday the 10th), the SILYCAR met with the tow truck again and was taken to the paint shop..
i've got a friend who owns the mechanic shop next door so got them to look at the engine.. found out Thursday morning (20 October) that the timing had slipped causing the cam shaft idler tension to smash through the front of the engine. The tensioner bearings were KFUCED.. and the water pump bearring was not much better.. along with the timing belt having slits through it from metal (picture number 3)
Had everything replaced in the timing with second hand bits just to check the compressions.. Compression tests were all 100% spot on luckily so no bent valves and no cracked pistons like i was expecting.. So knowing the engine was savable, we replaced everything in the timing with brand new stuff....
Car was fixed engine wise and went back into the paintshop on friday morning (21st).. the guys in the paint shop only had to fit the fit and do the finishing touches and i got to pick it up at 5:30pm I got to the paint shop after work and rushed the guys so i could have the car back and drive it again.. 3.5 weeks and it was killing me!!!
Anywayz, i got the car back but it needed to go back in on the following 2 wednesdays to have all the finishing touches done.. final finishing touches were done on Wednesday last week
what yas reckon??

it looks good your interior is identical to mine almost lol. in the isotta department that is lol except mine is tan colored leather instead.
only thing i dont like is that front bar though it looks like it has stress on it expecially in the old pics.
after the respray it looks better but i say you should get a GT4 front spoiler it would look a lot better as that one looks like there is something missing (still looks good but)
yeaaaah i just dont see it that much.
cheers
