Celica 73 TA22
- Du Port 2 parck paint. R81 red from late model Honda
- New windsreen glass and new front + rear window seals and grey cloth hood lining fitted. New carpet (Black).
- Body is straight
- 3T-GTEU EFI DOHC 1.8L factory watercooled turbo engine. (3T-GTEU engine is a later evolution of early toyota 2T/3T GT engines with yamaha twin cam head). Low km import, given very little use, has had no modification or repairs. 2.5 inch exhaust with 2.5 inch resonator and straight through muffler.
- Engine idle and runs well
- EMS PC/Laptop programmable computer
- Boost gauge
- 3 core heavy duty radiator
- Fuel pumps recently replaced and unused: Bosch high pressure pump (VL commodore type). Kraftstoff 3.9-5.5 psi low pressure pump. Stainless steel anti-swirl pot.
- New distributor cap, Bosch high energy transistor coils and ignition modules plus new plugs.
- Lovell front springs, kings rear springs, poly-urethane adjustable front strut tops (K-mac). Poly-urethane suspension bushings for all front and rear suspension.
- spare 3T-GTEU engine in parts - One piston crown scorched due to lean running. Spare turbo is reconditioned with machined housing and larger compressor to provide higher boost. (Still wrapped in plastic with silica-fel, yet to be used or run in, receipt for $700)
- 14 inch mag wheels with good types
how much with and how much without the spare turbo???
NOTE: Car is not yet for sale but keep your eyes open because it may one day be. I just want to know what it would be worth.

Well. If it helps id pay $5000 for it. But dont get pissed if it seems low because $5000 is all ive got. But only if it was roadworthy/registered. But ill keep a look out for it on these forums. cheers

the car is for sale but not by me, I have posted photos at http://www.orford.com.au/temp/car/ if anyone wants a look. He is asking $2200, name is Nat and pH 0405 498 680 and is in brisbane. Good luck everyone. BTW he is looking to get rid of it so will most likely accept less than 2g's

Paint looks sweet, excepting that funky bonnet... 
Couldn't see the EMS though - is it a fuel only computer?

I don't know anything more about it. I was going to buy it, fix up the few things and sell it for a profit but there was less interior than I thought so I decided against it. Would be good if someone wanted one to keep though. Give that number a call if you want to know more details.
