Ok so the head is off my 1-JiZm at the moment and I am going to get the valve stem seals replaced, I just contacted toyota and they are $146 and a 3 day wait for genuine toyota valve stem seals and thats at trade price, does anyone know of any aftermarket items that might be cheaper and available in around the same time?
P.S. I read that ACL might make them? does anyone know the part number/prices for said ACL items?
Talk to the guys at the head service shop. (you are getting the head surfaced are you not?) The guysy will measure the valves with a micrometer, and can check their catalogue for same diameter valves. It is done all the time.
