ok guys i went to a local engine importer yesterday and asked for a 3rd gen 3sge, the guy took me into back and showed me a 3sge, the front valve cover looks like 3rd gen has 3sge and says yamaha, but the intake manifold instead of saying 2000cc twin cam 16 it say "Type G twin cam 16" . Anybody knows if this is really a 3rd gen what are specs on this type g what does it come out of is it faster than normal 3rd gen thanks
aparently they come in the rav4 and are detuned 3rd gens they are rated at 165ps and 141 ft/lbs of torque, The intake manifold is different so i dont know if thats a slighty more restrictive manifold

im pretty sure it would be a full 180ps beams spec. theres no poin tputtin gthe 3sge in and putting it back to 3sfe specs for the "sports" model.
the Type G RAv4's are JDM only i think.
rmember its set up for E-W moutning so the intake/oil/water/mounts are FWD and if its going into an 86... too many hassles.
