Custom made low AE86 springs *PICS OF MY OLD AWESOME RIDE HEIGHT* Thu, 10 November 2005 12:18 Go to next message
Selling the old springs from my car, had them custom made a while back.

about 2.5-3 inches lower than standard, way lower than king lows.

(have pics of my car with them, will post up soon)

fronts are captive with standard shocks, rears are nearly captive (about an inch gap at full droop, was never a problem for my car)

i would suggest cutting one section off your bumpstops for this ride height, especially on the front.

selling due to upgrade.

offers?

You can't get superlows for sprinters, they only do lows, and lows are about 1-2 inches higher than these springs.

taitran, the highest offer so far is 90 bucks, i'm not after a great deal more than that.

the wheels you see on there are 14 inch rims wearing 195/60 tyres (same outside diameter as standard). I didnt really scrape anything due to the sprinter's fairly short overhangs. had to slow down for speed humps, but thats what they are there for right?

at the lowest point it was 100 mm off the ground, if you have a front lip then you will have to watch out for gutters etc, occasionally my front tow hooks would scrape gutters in car parks, but thats about it.

I've heard of stripping the interior for drift, but I think you need more than just the springs to slide... where would the cup-holder go?
